12 weeks at full pay.
Statutory Maternity Pay from weeks 13 to 39. This is the standard rate or a rate equal to 90% of your average weekly earnings leading up to your maternity absence. You will receive whichever rate is lower.
Note: there is no Enhanced Maternity Pay for weeks 40 to 52 if those weeks are taken.
How long do you have to work at the company to qualify?
Employed by the same employer continuously for at least 26 weeks up to and into the 15th week before the week your baby is due.
If you decide to cease employment whilst on leave what is the clawback policy?
If you received Enhanced Maternity Pay, and you resign before the end of your Maternity Leave or within the 13 weeks after you have returned from Maternity Leave, you will be required to pay back all or some of the Enhanced Maternity Pay that exceed the Statutory Pay that you were entitled to.
