Policy Details

Enhanced maternity pay is payable for up to 18 weeks, with the first six weeks paid at full pay. The
remaining 12 weeks is payable at 50% of the employee’s salary.

How long do you have to work at the company to qualify?

Employees who have been continuously employed by the Company for at least one year at the end of
their qualifying week and are still employed during that week, will qualify for enhanced maternity pay,
providing that they commit to returning to work for at least 12 months following the end of their
maternity leave.

If you decide to cease employment whilst on leave what is the clawback policy?

f the employee does not return to work after their
maternity leave or resign before they have completed 12 months’ service after their return, they will be
required to repay 100% of the enhanced maternity pay, in excess of their entitlement to statutory
maternity pay.
