For staff with at least 52 weeks service:
Weeks 1 - 16, Full pay inclusive of SMP
Weeks 17-39, 50% of average pay inclusive of SMP
Week 40, 50% of average pay

If you decide to cease employment whilst on leave what is the clawback policy?
Where an employee does not wish to return to work following maternity leave, they must serve out their contractual notice prior to the end of their additional maternity leave. In circumstances where employees have not exhausted their maternity pay at the point they hand in their notice, they remain entitled to receive all SMP due to them, providing they remain on maternity leave (i.e. they do not take up an alternative position of employment), but will be required to pay back in full any additional monies above statutory requirements
