Policy Details

• during the first 6 weeks of maternity leave, the colleague will receive a supplementary top up of an additional 10% of their average weekly earnings, to equal their normal full pay.
• during the next 12 weeks of maternity leave, the colleague’s maternity pay will equal their normal full pay.
• during the next 6 weeks, the colleague will receive half pay (50% full pay).
During the next 15 weeks, colleagues are paid SMP only. The final 13 weeks of maternity leave are unpaid.

How long do you have to work at the company to qualify?

• have worked for Aggreko continuously for at least 26 weeks by the end of the 15th week before the EWC;
• are still employed in the 15th week before the EWC;
• have average weekly earnings in the 8 weeks up to and including the 15th week before the EWC (sometimes called the relevant period) of at least the lower earnings limit for National Insurance Contributions (this is reviewed annually).

If you decide to cease employment whilst on leave what is the clawback policy?

If a colleague decides not to return to work after maternity leave, they should write to their manager to give notice of their resignation. Contractual notice periods apply.
Salary and all other benefits will stop on the colleague’s termination date. Any holidays not taken will be paid in their final pay.
If a colleague does not return from maternity leave or does not work for a full 52 weeks after maternity leave, the Company reserve the right to seek or make deductions from salary for any CMP paid.
