Policy Details

Maternity - Mother or primary caregiver (in case of adoption, foster to adopt or surrogacy) – 26 weeks full pay.

• At a minimum, all parents will have their job protected for 6 months from the date of birth / placement but pay will fall to statutory offerings after the Aesop paid leave has been taken.
• All paid leave will enhance any statutory pay that is already provided to employees to ensure that they receive full pay during the time of leave. The paid leave will not be paid in addition to any statutory offerings. For example, in the case of the Birth Parent, if statutory is to provide 50% of salary for the first 6 weeks, then Aesop will ‘top up’ and provide the remaining 50% of salary to ensure you receive your full salary for the first 6 weeks and then pay 100% of your salary for the remaining 20 weeks.
